The Night and Day bracelet is smooth and cool and feels delightful to wear! It is a wide, multistrand stretch bracelet, created by artisans in the Himalayas of India using Fair Trade practices.
The double colored beads are joined in several layers with vertical carved beads embellishing them for a traditional look. The long beads are handcrafted from pine tree resins, and shaped into tubular beads. They are then polished to a smooth, shiny surface. Small metallic beads accent this beautiful design. Keep in mind that the color tones in your unique bracelet may vary slightly from what is pictured.
Bombay Bongo is very proud to partner with our Fair Trade Federation Member importer, and offer you this fine quality piece as part of our Exclusives Collection.

About the Artisans
A group of brave and talented female artisans in the Himalayan mountainous region of India create this natural and ethnic bracelet. The Short Stay Home is a cooperative helping women become independent after being victims of child marriage. They earn a living by making jewelry and other ornaments, as they learn additional artisan skills. Some of the artisans even have full-time jobs outside of their shelter and craft the jewelry in their spare time. All of their work reflects their perseverance, talent and ethnic art of the region. The artisans are compensated fairly for their work. By supporting these artisans through fair trade, you are helping this group of women become independent, self-sufficient and live a life they deserve.
